Hula Hoop Wedding Chandelier

Bring a magical glow to your space with this simple and affordable hula hoop chandelier. Here’s how to make one like the first image I provided.

Materials Needed:

  • A large hula hoop
  • White fabric, ribbon, or tape (to wrap the hula hoop)
  • Warm white string lights (preferably battery-operated or with a long cord)
  • Clear fishing line or thin, sturdy string (for hanging)
  • Clear baubles
  • Hooks or ceiling hangers for mounting
  • Optional: Floral or greenery garlands for extra decoration

Instructions:

Start by wrapping the entire hula hoop with white fabric, ribbon, or tape to give it a polished and cohesive look. Secure the ends with tape or hot glue to prevent unraveling. Next add the lights by starting at one point on the hoop and wrapping them around it, spacing them evenly. For a fuller look, let some of the light strands hang loosely from the hoop to create a cascading effect. Secure the lights in place with small pieces of clear tape or twist ties as you work around the hoop. Use fishing line to string clear baubles at different heights.
